WordPerfect Lightning is a program to capture, view and organize information from various sources. You can see, in several windows simultaneously, multiple files with the format .Pdf, .Doc and Web versions of files. Then you can extract information from them through the generation of snapshots and load them onto a notepad, open a word processor or save the clipboard.
One advantage of this program, which will become very convenient for jobs that require handling of multiple files at the same time, is that it has a browser from which you can go viewing, and organizing in subdirectories, files and notes which you’re working with. Also, you can go creating a new text document as you select information, apply standard formats and add pictures and graphics.
Another profitable advantage of this program is that includes tools to facilitate exporting files to edit them in more complex programs, and the distribution to share with your work team or other recipients. Some of the options that you can access are:
• Sending notes, full folders of notes, or exporting your documents with WordPerfect X4 format.
• Sending your notes or documents – in a straightforward manner - to mail
recipients
• Storing up to 200MB of notes and documents on the Web and loading them directly.
In order to boost the utilities for exchanging information via the Web, the license of this program includes two email accounts, 200 MB of storage for content, and access to shared calendar services and collaborative spaces.
It runs on Windows XP and Windows Vista and has very few system requirements.
